Nobel Creations 2016
Dec. 5, 2016
It begun as a small exhibition at Nobelmuseet in Stockholm in 2011. Fashion students at Beckmans College of Design now interpret the Nobel Prizes for the sixth time.
27 pictures from five years
The Fashion students at Beckmans create artistic interpretations of the Nobel Prizes that are awarded each year in Stockholm - a design task that is inspired by one of our most grand celebrations but which also explores what unites fashion designers and Nobel laureates - namely creativity. The pictures above show 27 interpretations by fashion students at Beckmans throughout the exhibition's five years. AD by students at the program of Visual Communication at Beckmans.
New participants in this year's exhibition
The exhibiiton has grown each year - in 2014 the Royal College of Music (KMH) participated for the first time with musical interpretations of the Nobel Prizes. The same year, students at the Product Design program at Beckmans made artistic interpretations of the prizes and last year, the Product Design students also created the spatial design of the exhibtion. Now in 2016, the participants are Fashion students from Beckmans as well as students from KMH, Friends of Handicraft and Fotoskolan STHLM.
