Alumni part of design initiative with the Swedish furniture industry during Stockholm Design Week

The initiative Inside Swedish Design promotes the knowledge and innovation within the Swedish design industry during Stockholm Design Week.

In an exhibition emphasizing a sustainable and innovative strategy for design and production, 26 world-leading companies, craft workshops and renowned designers are presented together with the next generation of talent, including 18 alumni from Beckmans College of Design.

Exhibition, talks & auction 8-14 February

The exhibition presents furniture that are objects one-by-one but also artefacts that reflect generations of inherited knowledge of materials, crafts and engineering. They are all an expression of the Swedish contemporary aesthetics and produced in accordance with the principles of a sustainable furniture industry at the forefront.

See the exhibition Inside Swedish Design – Presence and Innovation at Stockholm auktionsverk, Nybrogatan 32. Several talk about contemporary design will be held throughout the week. See the program at Auction online at 9-14 February.
