Beckmans' Fashion students exhibit in the US
What do Nobel laureates, fashion designers and composers have in common? The answer is of course creativity - the ability to think along new lines, highlight unexpected connections and the courage to challenge established theories. These are some of the characteristics of creativity explored in the project Nobel Creations Interpreting the Nobel Prize , that is currently on show at the American Swedish Institute, Minneapolis, USA Jan 30 - May 26 2015. The exhibition, was originally shown at the Nobel Museum in Stockholm in 2013-2014 and consists of six galadresses and six musical compositions that all interpret the Nobel prizes of 2013 in physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, peace and economic sciences.
Students in Visual Communication at Beckmans College of Design have created the communication around the project in film as well as printed media.
