Beckmans College of Design at Copenhagen Fashion Week

Beckmans College of Design Stockholm makes a first appearance at Copenhagen Fashion Week (CPHFW ) with the presentation of the project Window Shopping – Fashion Collaboration, January 29-30.

”For a few days in January, the fashion world comes together in Scandinavia for the Copenhagen Fashion Week, providing a fantastic platform for our students to meet an international audience close to home. With its focus on sustainability, CPHFW is also an important player in ensuring that sustainability stays top of mind”, says Karina Ericsson Wärn, Vice Chancellor.

13 collection concepts in collaboration with Swedish fashion brands

For CPHFW, bachelor students have created collections from the frameworks of reputed fashion brands focusing on sustainability: Axel Arigato, Filippa K, Hope, House of Dagmar, Nudie Jeans and Rave Review, giving the students the opportunity to create collections that closely approximates an authentic context with important sustainability goals. The students have then added their own ideas, aesthetics and personality, thus creating new synergies.
