"This cover is full of seeds from 'the flower of love', the red carnations. Here's a step-by-step guide how to grow your own from the cover.

1 To grow some love simply cut the cover in manageable pieces early in the spring.
2 Keep the pieces wet for a few days.
3 Take your finest pots and fill them with rich soil. Put one piece in each pot and cover them with only 1/4 inches.
4 Let the seeds germinate in 2–4 weeks at 20°C in full sunlight and well drained soil.
5 Plant them out into their permanent positions in late spring or early summer.
6 Finally take a picture of your beautiful garden and post it on my webpage: www.elperrodelmar.com.

The carnations will grow 16–24" tall and flower from May to July. They will withstand frosts before going dormant for the winter."
