I vårt allt mer komplexa samhälle blir våra sinnen konstant bombard-
erade av intryck, bilder, dofter och beröring. Vår hjärna kan inte ta
in allt utan väljer ut det som den finner mest relevant och förkastar
resten. Det är dessa intryck och upplevelser vi sedan refererar till
i den kreativa process som leder fram till en idé. Men vad händer
om våra sinnen inte stimuleras överhuvudtaget? hjärnan har då en
tendens att skapa egen stimuli, oftast i form av hallucinationer. hur
ser dessa ut och varför? Är det en slumpmässig kombination av gamla
intryck och minnen? hur refererar man till dessa intryck?

In our increasingly complex society, our senses are constantly bom-
barded with impressions, images, smells, touch. Our brain can’t cope
with all this and selects what it finds relevant and discards the rest.
it is to these impressions and experiences that we then refer in the
creative process that leads up to an idea. But what happens if our
senses are not stimulated at all? the brain then tends to create its
own stimuli, usually in the form of hallucinations. What do they look
like, and why? are they a random combination of old impressions and
memories? how do we relate to these impressions?
