Designers’ Nest Prize to Beckmans

For the second time, a student of Beckmans has won the Danish fashion prize Designers’ Nest Prize during Copenhagen’s Fashion Week. Sarah Törnqvist, Fashion 3, was awarded first prize, and was closely followed by Sofia-Li Gustafsson, also Fashion 3.

For the second time, a student of Beckmans College of Design has won the Danish fashion prize Designers’ Nest Prize during Copenhagen’s Fashion Week. Out of 28 students of fashion from seven Nordic design schools, Sarah Törnqvist, Fashion 3, won first prize for her collection Interf-Erence, composed of draped clothes in grey tones inspired by the way we drape towels around us after showering, and the short-lived silhuettes that then arise. Sarah’s winning collection was closely followed by Sofia-Li Gustafsson’s, also Fashion 3, who was awarded a special prize.
