Geometria är ett grekiskt ord som fritt översatt betyder att mäta i
förhållande till jorden, rummet och grundformerna. Att förhålla sig
till geometrins former och regler har människan gjort i alla tider. När
jag skissar och förenklar mina idéer hamnar jag också till slut där,
i geometrins kärna, och det har jag tagit fasta på. Mitt examensarbete
anpassar sig till rummet och har de arketypiska formerna kuben, cyl-
indern och konen. Samtidigt har möblerna ett starkt eget uttryck med
oväntade proportioner och former som förändras vid interaktion.

Geometria is a Greek word that roughly means to measure in relation
to the earth, the space and the basic shapes. To relate to the geomet-
ric shapes and rules is something mankind has done throughout the
ages. When I sketch and simplify my idea I eventually arrive there too,
at the core of geometry, and that is what I have focused on. My degree
project adapts to the space and has the archetypal shapes of the
cube, the cylinder and the cone. At the same time, the pieces of furni-
ture have a strong individual character with unexpected proportions
and shapes that change in interaction.
