Vi är alltför slentrianmässiga i vår världsuppfattning. Objekt, rum och
omgivningar har fått hierarkiska värden som vi nästan aldrig reflek-
terar över. Därför har jag i mitt examensarbete valt att arbeta för en
rumslig revolt mot det funktionalistiska arvet. Jag har skapat ett rum
i uppror där golv, väggar och tak fått liv och nu söker sig mot nya ut-
tryck och glömda ytor. Revolten har resulterat i ett hyllsystem och två
armaturer utan rätt eller fel, upp eller ner. Objekt som kan placeras
både på golv, vägg och i tak. Hur och var väljer du själv.

There is too much routine in the way we see the world. Objects, spaces
and surroundings have been given hierarchical values that we hardly
ever question. Therefore, I chose in my degree project to work for a
spatial uprising against the functionalistic heritage. I have created a
room in rebellion, where the floor, walls and ceilings come alive and
are in quest of new approaches and neglected surfaces. The rebellion
resulted in a shelf system and two light fixtures with no right or wrong,
up or down. Objects that can be placed on the floor, walls or in the
ceiling. How and where is up to you.
